Based on latest figures, the count of centenarians in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

Between 2004 and 2024, the total of male centenarians has grown by 200% from 910 to 3,100. During the identical timeframe, the number of women aged 100 or over nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are keen to hear from individuals who have reached 100, their family or close ones, about what it has been like to live through the past century’s seismic events and developments.
